Gowling WLG has been recognised in Legal 500's latest client Net Promoter Score (NPS) rankings, which measure how likely clients are to recommend their law firm to others.

In the West Midlands, the firm ranked fifth based on feedback gathered through Legal 500's annual research programme. Drawing on nearly 8,000 client responses, the rankings provide insight into the firms that clients are most likely to recommend based on their experience of service, relationships and legal advice.

Net Promoter Score (NPS) is a widely recognised measure of client advocacy and satisfaction. The rankings are based on responses to a question posed to clients as part of Legal 500's independent research: "On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend this firm?"

The ranking places Gowling WLG among the region's most highly regarded law firms and reflects the trust and confidence clients place in the firm's people, expertise and client service.

The rankings form part of Legal 500's wider programme of independent legal market research and benchmarking. Firms included in the analysis were required to hold multiple Legal 500 rankings and meet a minimum threshold of client responses, ensuring the results are grounded in a significant volume of independent client feedback.

This latest recognition follows Gowling WLG's strong performance in the Legal 500 UK 2026 rankings, which saw the firm recognised across multiple practice areas and individual lawyer categories.
