Gowling WLG strengthens municipal law practice with addition of David Sunday
Gowling WLG is pleased to welcome David Sunday as a partner in its Municipal Law Group. He will be based in the firm's Waterloo Region office.
An LSO-Certified Specialist in Municipal Law: Land Use Planning & Development, David worked at Gowling WLG between 2007 and 2011 before going on to diversify his experience at one of Southern Ontario's top firms.
Catering to private and public sector clients alike, David advises on a range of complex residential, commercial, industrial, and public sector land use and development issues. His work in this space encompasses acquisitions and dispositions, expropriation matters, land use controls, municipal approvals, subdivision and condominium issues, heritage matters and title uncertainties.

Outside of his law practice, David remains active in Waterloo Region's business community. He currently serves as a member of the Regional and Municipal Affairs Committee of the Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce and the Housing Committee of Supportive Housing of Waterloo.
