Julie Lanteigne to lead Gowling WLG’s Canadian Real Estate Practice Group
Gowling WLG is pleased to announce Julie Lanteigne as the new leader of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in Canada. She succeeds Joel Camley.
For more than 15 years, Julie has advised clients on various areas of commercial real estate, including leasing, sales, acquisitions and property management. As a multilingual professional fluent in English, French and Spanish, Julie acts on behalf of her clients on a local, national and international scale.
Harnessing this experience, Julie will work closely with her counterparts overseas to explore innovative strategies that enhance and expand Gowling WLG’s comprehensive real estate services.
“Our clients require prompt access to sophisticated legal advice that adapts to the fluidity of current market dynamics,” said Julie. “I look forward to finding new ways to harness our team’s collective understanding of these market and regulatory trends in delivering 360-degree solutions to our clients.”
Julie brings to this leadership position a passion for the industry that extends throughout the length of her career. Prior to entering private practice, she worked in the legal department of one of Canada’s largest real estate owners where she gained first-hand experience in the complex leasing and regulatory matters these types of organizations face on a regular basis.
