The Advocates' Society (TAS) has named four Gowling WLG lawyers to leadership roles beginning in 2025. Three of the roles span the 2025–2026 term, while one extends to 2027:

  • Heather Fisher: Vice Chair, Insolvency Litigation Practice Group (2025–2026)
  • James Plotkin: Member-at-large, Appellate Advocacy Practice Group (2025–2026)
  • Sahil Shoor: Member, Mid-Career Advocates' Standing Committee (2025–2027)
  • Alyssa Tomkins: Member-at-large, Commercial Litigation Practice Group (2025–2026)

In these roles, they will contribute to enhancing TAS membership benefits, fostering collegiality among advocates in their respective areas, and supporting the Society's broader advocacy initiatives.
