Alexander MacMillan is an associate lawyer based in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office and is a member of the Advocacy Group. Alexander’s practice focuses on commercial litigation. He has represented a broad range of clients before the Ontario Superior Court, arbitration proceedings, tribunals and beyond.
Alexander is devoted to his clients and works tirelessly to deliver tailored solutions that meet their specific needs. Each client is different and has their own goals and expectations. Alexander will work with then to ensure that those goals are achieved. Alexander prides himself on his compassionate approach to litigation and advocating for his clients.
Alexander completed his JD at both the University of Windsor, School of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Law and is a member of both the Ontario and Florida State Bars. While at law school, Alexander provided legal services with Community Legal Aid in Windsor and the Veterans Clinic in Detroit.
Prior to law school, Alexander completed his bachelor's degree at McGill University and was a member of the McGill University Rugby Football Club.
Alexander is a member of several organizations, including the Hamilton Lawyers Association, the Hamilton Lawyer’s Club and the Advocates Society.
Outside of work, Alexander enjoys playing rugby for his club team and visiting family in the United States.
