Briana Donnelly is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.
Briana completed her JD at Queen’s University. During her studies, Briana worked as the lead instructor for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators. In this role she facilitated students’ competency in a broad scope of course material, including economic damage quantification, statutory rights of minority shareholders, corporate reorganizations, valuation in shareholder agreements, family law issues, fairness opinions, earn-outs and various public company issues.
Prior to entering law school, Briana gained extensive professional accounting experience while earning her CPA and CBV designations; providing loss quantification and business valuation services to lawyers and insurance professionals in a court-ready report format. Briana is a trusted problem solver and decisive team-player, who excels at communicating complex financial concepts in a simple manner.
