Emily Howe is a law clerk in the Business Law Group of Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. Emily has 25 years of corporate law experience, working with both private and public entities.
Emily’s focus is on corporate transactions including due diligence, acquisition and sale transactions, financings, and corporate and tax re-organizations. As a senior law clerk, Emily deals with all aspects of the life of a corporate entity including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, revivals, and dissolutions.
Emily also has extensive experience in corporate governance and Canadian/US securities regulations and disclosure requirements.
Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Emily was the senior law clerk for a large, publicly traded cannabis company.
