Bio

Jana Schneider is a Principal Associate in Gowling WLG's German Real Estate Practice in Frankfurt.

She advises national and international clients on all aspects of real estate law with focus on real estate transactions (by way of asset and share deals). Jana has several years of experience in advising on the acquisition and sale of properties in all asset classes, project developments as well as ongoing asset management of properties including legal enforcement of claims. Jana has particular expertise in W&I transactions advising on behalf of insurance companies or underwriters.

Advised German investment manager CONREN Land on the acquisition of serval office buildings in Germany.
Advised a US listed company on the sale of a research centre.
Advised HANSAINVEST Hanseatische Investment GmbH on the acquisition of the Media Tower in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Advised HANSAINVEST Hanseatische Investment GmbH on the acquisition of an office building in Mannheim, Germany.
Advised a German real estate service provider on the acquisition of senior nursing homes in Northern Germany (share deal).
Advised a UK investor on the acquisition of two student living accommodations in Northern Germany and subsequent sale with refurbishment obligation along with complex refinance structure.
Advised a German fund on the acquisition of an office building in Hamburg including hereditary building right.
Advised the local subsidiary of a listed US company on the leasing of retail spaces in several major German cities.
Advising a Luxembourg fund on the asset management of its German properties.
Advising a Swedish family office on the letting of a property in a top Munich location as a flagship store to a sportswear retailer and on ongoing asset management.
Advised German insurance companies on several W&I transactions.
