Jessie Larter

Jessie Larter is a bold, practical and effective civil litigator. She has considerable trial and appeal experience in the areas of medical defence and general commercial litigation. She often assists clients in private mediation and before administrative tribunals involving professional disciplinary matters.

As provincial counsel to the Canadian Medical Protective Association, Jessie assists physicians with professional negligence claims, fatality inquiries, privacy complaints, professional conduct and other medical-legal matters. In addition, Jessie maintains a strong commercial litigation practice that includes contract disputes, class action litigation and land disputes.

Jessie volunteers her time by assisting low-income Calgarians through the Civil Claims Duty Counsel and QB Amicus programs. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, skiing, running half-marathons and watching soccer.
