Marc Crandall is an intellectual property and tax lawyer in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.
Marc has represented some of world's largest technology and pharmaceutical companies, including LG, Google, and Takeda. He also regularly works with small and medium sized companies in both his IP and tax practices. Marc also spent over a year as counsel with the Department of Justice as a tax litigator for the Crown.

Marc draws on his over 10 years practising as a professional engineer prior to practicing law, to quickly understand and identify technological, business, and legal issues faced by his clients. Marc's IP practice focuses primarily on patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation in the high tech and pharmaceutical sectors; where he has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal.
Marc also practice as a tax litigator in tax disputes before the Tax Court of Canada. Marc draws on his time as a Crown attorney to find practical, efficient resolutions to tax disputes.
