Mark Giavedoni is a partner in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office and leader of the Real Estate Sector and Practice Group in Canada. He is also a member of the firm's National Expropriation Law Group, National Municipal Law Group and National Construction & Infrastructure Group.

Mark is a past president of the Hamilton Law Association and currently serves as a trustee. He is also the Real Estate Committee Chair for the Federation of Ontario Law Associations and is a member of the Real Estate, Municipal and Education Sections of the Ontario Bar Association. Additionally, Mark is a member of the Ontario Expropriation Association and the Canadian Property Tax Association. He is a frequent speaker and presenter on various substantive real estate topics throughout Ontario.
Mark's achievements include receiving the Federation of Ontario Law Associations President’s Award in 2021. His extensive community involvement includes his active participation in the Federation of Ontario Law Associations as the Real Estate Chair.
