Nadine Okoeguale

Nadine Okoeguale is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, focusing her work with the Business Law Group.
Born and raised in Nigeria, Nadine earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Lagos. She worked as a transactional lawyer at a pioneering commercial law firm, gaining experience in financing agreements and providing corporate advisory services to international clients. Nadine later completed an LL.M. in Law and Technology at the University of Ottawa, during which she earned a placement with Shopify’s legal team, supporting regulatory affairs and compliance matters. While pursuing her graduate degree, she also served as co-president of the Graduate Studies in Law Student Association, where she led efforts to revive key student initiatives.
Outside of law, Nadine has a passion for literature and film, with a penchant for deconstructing metaphors and appreciating clever wordplay.
