Oliver Munn is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Calgary office.
Oliver is on track to earn his JD in the Spring of 2026 at the University of Saskatchewan. Over the past two years, he has been actively involved with the Pro Bono Students Canada initiative through the "CLASSIC" project and in student organizations such as the corporate law club. He was a member of the University of Saskatchewan's gold-winning 2025 Law Games team in Halifax. Oliver has a growing interest in corporate litigation but is eager to explore a range of legal practice areas during the summer of 2025.
Oliver is committed to community service, having spent the past four summers volunteering with the Calgary Food Bank and the Mustard Seed. He also has extensive experience working with preschool aged children.
Before law school, Oliver earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with Distinction from Queen's University with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. In his final year, he successfully defended an honours thesis. His passion for written and oral advocacy, combined with a desire to make a meaningful impact, led him to pursue a legal career.
Outside of academics, Oliver enjoys visiting his family's cabin in Golden, BC, skiing at Kicking Horse and golfing.
