Bio

Sanjeet is part of the commercial development and investment team, acting for a mix of property investment clients. Sanjeet advises on commercial real estate acquisitions and financing, leasing, asset management and disposals of all types of real estate assets. Sanjeet is experienced in the negotiation of acquisition and sale contracts, complex agreements for leases, leases and all supporting documentation.

Sanjeet works for institutional investors including Columbia Threadneedle, Nuveen and CBRE Investment Management. Sanjeet also advises Primary Health Properties on the development, acquisition, letting and disposal of their GP surgeries portfolio. This range of clients leads to a variety of different property management transactions giving Sanjeet a good understanding of the lifecycle of properties in a wide range of different sectors.

Sanjeet has developed strong relationships with the clients she works for through her enthusiastic and proactive approach to each transaction, her clear and consistent communication and having a good understanding of their commercial motivations for each transaction she works on.

Experience

Acting for Columbia Threadneedle Property Investments on all aspects of their property portfolio across several different funds, including acquisition, asset management and disposal together with supervising other members of the team on transactions to ensure a consistent approach is taken. Sanjeet is also part of the client relationship team for Columbia Threadneedle, which includes attending all client update meetings and relaying information to the team to ensure a high standard of service is provided at all times and all client KPIs are met.
Working with CBRE Investment Management for the Pension Protection Fund on all aspects of their property portfolio. Recent highlights include negotiating a complex agreement for lease including substantial landlord works with a large supermarket chain and the acquisition of an industrial park.
Acting for Nuveen Real Estate on the £145 million sale of an industrial park.
Acting for Nuveen Real Estate in respect of the redevelopment of a retail park in greater London, including the negotiation of a development agreement with an existing large retail tenant.
Acting for Columbia Threadneedle Property Investments on the grant of a lease to a well-known flexible serviced office provider for an annual rent in excess of £3,000,000.
Acting on the disposal of a large property portfolio for a total consideration of £925 million, including vendor led due diligence which involved managing a team to produce circa 40 reports on title and co-ordinating the enquiries received from the buyer's professional advisors to ensure the client achieved their commercial objective within their set timescales.
Acting on the acquisition of a £240 million central London office for Singaporean based Stamford Land Corporation. Working under pressure and in accordance with the client's requirements. Exchange and completion occurred within 5 working days of heads of terms being agreed.
