
Bio
Wynona Klemt is an Associate in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office, practicing in the firm's Advocacy Department and Environmental Law Practice Group.
Wynona obtained her JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, with a specialization in Environmental Law. Throughout law school, Wynona was an exec member of the Environmental Law Group and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, where she worked with the organizations Justice for Girls and West Coast Environmental Law. In her final year of law school Wynona participated in the Business Law Clinic and competed in the Laskin Moot. Wynona is the recipient of the Business Law Clinic Award.
Before law school, Wynona completed a BSc and MSc in Environmental Science and Biology at the University of Waterloo. In her graduate degree, Wynona studied pollution in lakes near the Alberta Oil Sands, and her work has been published in prominent scientific journals Environmental Pollution and Environmental Science & Technology.
