Bio
Wynona Klemt is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office.
Wynona comes to law from a background in science, having completed a bachelor and master’s degree in environmental science and biology. In her graduate degree, Wynona studied contaminant deposition in lakes near the Alberta Oil Sands, and her work has been published in prominent scientific journals Environmental Pollution and Environmental Science & Technology.
As a student at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, Wynona was an exec member of the Environmental Law Group and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, where she worked with the organizations Justice for Girls and West Coast Environmental Law. In her final year of law school Wynona participated in the Business Law Clinic and competed in the Laskin Moot. Wynona is the recipient of the Blake Cassels Graydon Prize in Legal Research and Writing.
