On June 3, 2015, Capstan Limited Partnership entered into a joint venture with Minglian Holdings Ltd., a Vancouver based-real estate developer, to develop a mixed-use commercial project. The joint venture involves Capstan taking an equity stake in the project company.

Gowlings represented Capstan, with a team that included Jack Yong, Julia Winters and Stephen Hedley.
