Kriska Transportation Group to acquire Transpro Freight Systems

On November 3, 2015, Kriska Transportation Group Limited (“KTG”) announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire the shares of Transpro Freight Systems Limited (Transpro) based in Milton, Ontario. This transaction is expected to close by November 30, 2015. Transpro, which currently operates 110 tractors and 300 trailers, will continue to be led by its current management team.

KTG is a growth oriented transportation and logistics company based in Prescott, Ontario. It owns a collection of independently operated asset-based companies, with a strong focus on cross border, truckload freight. Inclusive of the acquisition of Transpro, KTG will now operate a total fleet of 645 tractors, 1,950 trailers, and will employ 900 people, including owner operators.
