Following the 26th Annual CCPPP National Conference on Public-Private Partnerships (“P3 2018”) taking place November 5 – 6, 2018, Gowling WLG is pleased to be hosting the Chinese delegation from Peking University, Public Private Partnerships Research Center, China Public-Private Partnerships Fund Management Co., Ltd., and the China Ministry of Finance, Public Private Partnerships Center to our Toronto offices on November 7.

Our guests will be welcomed by our partner Thomas Timmins, leader of Gowling WLG's China Initiative and chair of the firm’s Global Renewable Energy Practice Group. This will be a great opportunity to recap the takeaways from the P3 2018 conference, while networking with a number of industry experts.

About the conference

The Annual CCPPP National Conference is now recognized as the premier event on public-private partnerships (P3) in the world. It began in 1993 and has since grown to include 1,200 senior public and private sector participants, making it the largest annual gathering of P3 decision-makers.

Keynote speakers at the CCPPP Annual Conference are at the forefront of thought leadership. Luis Alberto Moreno, President, Inter-American Development Bank joined us last year to offer his insights on the emerging P3 opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean. Tom Ridge, former Governor of Pennsylvania and the first US Secretary of Homeland Security, shed a light on the very real threat of cyber-attacks. Our sessions are always interactive discussions, targeting everything from the prospects of the pipeline to the reality of risks. It is advanced content intended to help delegates think 'big and beyond' about the challenges and opportunities facing the P3 industry.
