From autonomous vehicles to board decision making, artificial intelligence has become ubiquitous, transforming business and the way we live. But how will the law respond to this new technological reality? What are the emerging legal risks associated with an AI world and how will AI impact the concept of liability?

This presentation will assess the evolving AI landscape from the legal perspective, with an eye on how our legal system might respond to the risks inherent in this technological advancement.


This program contains up to 1.5 hours of Substantive credits toward the mandatory CPD requirements of the Law Society of Ontario, and up to 1.5 hours of Continuing Education credits toward the requirements of the Barreau du Québec.
