In addition to insights from a number of industry, government and community leaders, the summit will feature a keynote address from accomplished international trade lawyer Richard Dearden.
A partner at Gowling WLG, Dearden served as external counsel to the Government of Mexico during the NAFTA negotiations and acted for the U.S. Department of Commerce during the Chapter 19 negotiation of the Canada-US Free Trade Agreement. The talk will leverage his vast experience to provide important context to the current trade issues impacting Canada's steel industry and economy at large.
