Conference

The current situation surrounding Brexit is fraught with uncertainties and constant changes. Following the British Parliament’s rejection of the agreement negotiated with the European Union, and with only a few weeks to go before the official exit date, the United Kingdom (UK) and its trading partners are navigating uncharted waters. The possible outcomes are not easing any concerns, and it is becoming increasingly apparent that Canada will have to prepare for a “difficult” Brexit. Given that the UK is one of Canada’s largest export markets and a financial hub, there is a lot at stake.

As an international law firm, we are constantly keeping an eye on global issues that have the potential to affect our clients. As such, we are pleased to invite you to an exclusive “Brexit” breakfast seminar, featuring Ms. Chloë Adams, British Consul General in Montreal, and Mr. Antony Phillipson, Trade Commissioner for North America. They will discuss, among other things, the future of the commercial relationship between the United Kingdom and Canada and shed light on the latest developments.

This opportunity to interact with some of the key players working at the forefront of the issue is not to be missed!
