2020 has been an interesting year to say the least but the patents world continues to move forward and so do we, even if it is in a slightly different format.

We are going virtual so that you don't miss out on our annual review and summary of 2020's important patent cases. Alex Brodie and Michael Carter will be joining Gordon Harris to deliver the statistics, provide an expert view on one of the big judgments of the year, Unwired Planet v Huawei, and will also give you a helicopter view of the cases to watch out for in 2021.

2020 has seen some blockbusting Supreme Court decisions and a lot of interest further down the scale. The courts are taking a bold but commercially pragmatic approach to the role of patents. We also have the early performance of a new Patents Court judge to look at. There is plenty to excite all patent aficionados and patent business people.

Our interactive session will give you the freedom to ask those burning questions and test out some of those theories you may have been pondering, and our speakers will be available in break out rooms after the event if you want to linger and ask some questions direct.

We will also have a follow up event later next year to look at some of the topics of particular interest and to cover the international angles we would normally have covered in the full seminar, followed by a well-deserved drinks reception so we can all catch up with old friends and colleagues in person.
