Connected Health White Paper

Many people are using a variety of terms to describe various Connected Health products and services. This has become especially apparent over the last three years, particularly when advising clients such as the European Connected Health Alliance on legal issues surrounding Connected Health.

Recognising the challenges this can pose, Wragge & Co's healthcare experts produced a White Paper summarising the various definitions we have come across. We hope this will be a helpful reference point for those businesses and organisations working in digital health, eHealth, mHealth, telecare, telehealth and telemedicine.

Look out for a second White Paper later this year covering legal regulation issues in Connected Health in Europe. The European Connected Health Alliance will also publish a high-level summary of the healthcare systems in which it has ecosystems (Finland, France Greece, Republic of Ireland, Spain, and the UK).
