The Carlyle Group completes US$210.5 million common unit offering

On June 5, 2015, The Carlyle Group L.P., an entity part of the Carlyle Group issued and sold 7,000,000 common units representing Limited Partnership Interests for proceeds of US$210.5 million.

The common units represent partner interests in The Carlyle Group L.P., which entitle their holders to participate in the distributions and exercise the rights and privileges available to limited partners of The Carlyle Group L.P.

The firm was Canadian counsel to the Carlyle Group with respect to this common unit offering with a team that included Pierre Lissoir (corporate finance), Daniel Lacelle (tax) and Luc Lissoir (private equity and corporate finance).
