MCC Mining Corporation closes US$7 million equity financing

MCC Mining Corporation has completed a private placement of common shares for gross proceeds of US$7 million, including exercise of pro rata rights by First Quantum Minerals Ltd.

MCC is a private Canadian mineral exploration company with an extensive copper exploration portfolio in Colombia. Proceeds from the private placement will be used to move the company’s two key projects forward to the drilling stage and for general corporate purposes.

Gowling WLG advised MCC in this financing with a team led by Denis Silva and that included Tara Amiri and Sarah Baddeley (corporate), assisted by paralegal Toni Vodola.
