FORTAI secures $1 million investment from Sudbury Catalyst Fund and angel investors

On August 6, 2020, The Sudbury Catalyst Fund, a $5 million seed capital co-investment fund based in the City of Greater Sudbury, announced the closing of its first investment of $250,000 in FORTAI, a Sudbury-based startup.

Together with investments from existing shareholders and matching funds from other angel investors, FORTAI raised approximately $1 million.

FORTAI is a technology company with a vision to transform how mines and heavy industry design, build and manage their operations. FORTAI will use the funds to continue development on ADMMIT, an autonomous mobile inventory platform.
