Our Capital Markets team has advised The London Tunnels plc, established to transform a former World War II tunnel complex in the centre of London into a major tourist attraction, on its direct listing and admission to trading on Euronext Amsterdam, with an expected market capitalisation of approximately £130 million.

London Tunnels, which is planning to raise £30 million, intends to develop a series of visitor attractions in the Kingsway Exchange Tunnels by restoring, adaptively reusing, and bringing them back to life, offering a combination of historical heritage experiences and a cultural, beautifully designed, multi-sensory, digital experience.

The Capital Markets team was led by partner Charles Bond, with support from legal director Sue Johnston, senior associate Sophie Evans and trainee solicitors Freddie Whittle and Anna Plenderleith.

Gowling WLG's Capital Markets team is well-established with an extensive track record over many years advising issuers on a variety of markets, as well as their sponsors, financial advisers, nominated advisers and brokers, in relation to IPOs, secondary fundraises, takeovers and related public company transactions.
