Whether you are looking for insight into the latest legal developments and hot topics, training resources, or a chance to meet your peers and exchange ideas, ThinkHouse Foundations has it covered.
Following a number of requests for a 'soft-skills' session our autumn event will primarily focus on mindfulness, there will also be an ever-popular contact law update.
Ruth Ormston, from Calm City Mind, will introduce us to mindfulness. Ruth is a practicing pensions solicitor at Gowling WLG so understands first-hand the challenges and stresses that lawyers can face. In this introductory mindfulness session she will explore ways in which you can practice mindfulness and how this can be used effectively in your every day and work lives.
Then, following a short coffee break, Elsie Blackshaw-Crosby will provide attendees with a contract law update, looking at recent cases that are likely to be of relevance to the ThinkHouse Foundations audience.
We hope you can join us, and please do extend the invite to your colleagues.
ThinkHouse Foundations is for in-house lawyers who are up to five years' PQE. Our sessions provide CPD points and a means of evidencing competences, some practical and relevant training and an opportunity to network with peers of a similar level.
