Energy innovators roundtable series : Driving Diversity & Inclusion in the Power Sector

26 November 2020

Gowling WLG Speaker:

Many Canadian power sector organizations are taking a proactive approach to hiring and developing talent more reflective of the diverse communities they serve. In an increasingly globalized, digitized, and interconnected world, the power sector will need to draw upon skills and expertise from diverse sources, particularly as the world strives to meet the challenge of delivering clean, reliable energy in the years ahead.

Expanding diversity is key, but there is much more work to do.

Join Gowling WLG's Neena Gupta and four Canadian power industry thought leaders as we take a look at the challenges and opportunities presented in this landmark shift. We'll examine what the future looks like, where things need to go and what lessons the power sector has learned from the social and cultural shifts which occurred during the past year.

Guest speakers:

  • Emily Thorn Corthay, Chair of the Board of Directors, StepUp

  • Farah Alexis, Vice President - Talent Management, Hydro One Networks Inc.

  • Annette Hollas, Manager - International Engagement, Equal by 3

  • Anna Klimbovskaia, COO & Co-Founder, Diversio
