Gowling WLG named "Patent Litigation Firm of the Year" in Canada and "Trademark Firm of the Year" in UAE at 2023 Global IP Awards

Gowling WLG was awarded "Patent Litigation Firm of the Year" for Canada and "Trademark Firm of the Year" for UAE at the 2023 Global IP Awards.

The Global IP Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of law and attorney firms in the fields of litigation, prosecution and transactions. The awards are presented jointly by international publications Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) and World Trademark Review (WTR).

Marc Richard, leader of the Canadian Life Sciences Group, attended the ceremony in London on Oct. 19 to accept the awards.

Gowling WLG's success at the Global IP Awards follows a string of other achievements the firm's global IP Group has received in several IAM and WTR guides. A total of 35 patent professionals were recognized in IAM Patent 1000 2023 and 34 trademark professionals included in WTR 1000 2023.
