Gowling WLG was awarded "Trademark Firm of the Year" for Canada at the 2024 Global IP Awards.

The Global IP Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of law and attorney firms in the fields of litigation, prosecution and transactions. The awards are presented jointly by international publications Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) and World Trademark Review (WTR).

The firm was also shortlisted in the following categories: Patent Litigation Firm of the Year (Canada), Patent Firm of the Year (UAE), Trademark Firm of the Year (UAE) and Patent Transactions Firm of the Year (UK).
