Gowling WLG launches "Risk to Reward" seminar series in Ottawa

17 May 2016

Gowling WLG has officially launched the “Risk to Reward” seminar series - a series of 10 breakfast seminars on critical business and legal issues to be held at the firm’s Ottawa office throughout 2016.

The “Risk to Reward” series is designed to help business owners, executives and in-house legal counsel stay ahead of the most important legal, regulatory and corporate risks facing their organizations - and, ultimately, help them transform those risks into tangible business rewards.

For in-house counsel, the series also fulfills the Law Society of Upper Canada’s requirement of 12 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) per year (nine substantive hours and three professionalism hours).

“We created the ‘Risk to Reward’ series to help Ottawa organizations stay informed on key issues that may be affecting their businesses,” said Wayne B. Warren, managing partner of Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. “Whether the issues relate to cybersecurity, social media or international expansion, our goal is to guide them through the risks so they can focus on growing their businesses.”

There is no cost to attend the “Risk to Reward” series, but advance registration is required as space is limited.
