Corporate finance & securities partner Jason A. Saltzman returns to Gowling WLG

Gowling WLG is pleased to announce the return of corporate finance and securities lawyer Jason A. Saltzman to the firm as a partner practising in Toronto.

Saltzman rejoins Gowling WLG after several years at Dentons. He advises clients on a range of corporate finance, M&A and securities law matters, including securities offerings and going public transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions and regulatory compliance.

With significant experience working with issuers, investment dealers and institutional and private investors domestically and internationally, Saltzman has helped numerous companies raise capital and go public on Canada’s stock exchanges.

He is recognized as a leading practitioner by Best Lawyers and Lexpert, and works with clients across numerous industry sectors, including technology, life and health sciences and natural resources. Saltzman is a leader in the alternative finance space, with deep expertise in fintech, equity crowdfunding and other emergent financial services models.

He is a frequent writer and speaker on topics related to corporate finance and securities law and is currently serving a second term on the Ontario Securities Commission’s Small and Medium Enterprise Committee.
