Gowling WLG strengthens Paris office with new IP partner

Gordon Harris, Gowling WLG's global co-head of IP said: "Welcoming Céline to our IP team in Paris is a great opportunity to increase interconnectivity between our international teams. Céline was previously counsel at Herbert Smith Freehills, where she was a key member of the IP team for 13 years.

Céline has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1998 and worked exclusively within IP ever since. Céline has been involved in huge cases across the full range of IP rights in Paris, acting for some of the world's best known companies and brands. She has a masters degree in intellectual property and information technology law and has become recognised as a major player on the French market for trademarks and patents and for handling complex Internet and pan-European litigations.

The global IP team welcomed a new addition to its Dubai office when French senior associate Vanessa Delnaud joined at the end of last year. While the Paris office welcomed Alexandra Plain who joined the real estate team as partner.
