Stuart Young appointed to the Board of the World Law Group

Gowling WLG partner and head of automotive, Stuart Young, has been elected Secretary of The World Law Group's (WLG) Board of Directors. The appointment continues the firm's seven-year strong relationship with WLG - a global network of leading law firms.

Stuart Young is an mergers and acquisitions (M&A) lawyer with more than 20 years' transaction experience which he uses to provide commercial and pragmatic advice to clients. He also leads the firm's 25-strong automotive industry group and has worked with some of the biggest names in the sector including Aston Martin, Prodrive and Peugeot.

Gowling WLG has been a member of the World Law Group since 2010 and is the only representative firm for England and Wales. Stuart's appointment extends his role on the nine-member Board for a further two years.
