International law firm Gowling WLG has acted for London investment bank Panmure Gordon on a secondary fundraising by B.P. Marsh & Partners plc, an AIM-listed specialist venture capital investor in early stage financial services businesses.
The £17m fundraising comprised a placing to a new investor, an entity in the ASX-listed PSC Insurance Group, raising gross proceeds of £15.5 million, together with an open offer to existing shareholders which was significantly oversubscribed and raised gross proceeds of £1.5 million.
Gowling WLG's team was led by corporate partner Kris Rogers, supported by Emily Airton (associate), with regulatory support from Ian Mason (partner and head of financial and regulatory) and Kam Dhillon (principal associate).
Kris Rogers, from Gowling WLG, said: "We're pleased to have supported Panmure Gordon on this deal. The team's in-depth funding support experience and financial service regulatory expertise was crucial in completing this transaction."
