Gowling WLG welcomes medical defence litigator Meredith Jones

Gowling WLG is pleased to announce that Meredith Jones has joined the firm's Medical Defence Group as a partner in Ottawa.

As counsel to physicians, Jones' practice focuses on all areas of medical defence litigation and professional regulation.

Recognized as one of Canada's top health care lawyers by Best Lawyers in Canada, Jones has appeared before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She has also represented physicians in proceedings before the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
