Gowling WLG welcomes new construction disputes partner

Gowling WLG has welcomed a new partner, Mike Stewart, to its construction and engineering disputes team in London.

Mike joins the firm with nearly 25 years of experience advising on complex, high value disputes arising out of major infrastructure and energy projects, particularly in the Middle East. He has advised on disputes arising out of projects in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, UAE, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq, as well as India and Sri Lanka. 

Mike, whose practice has a focus on Turkish contractors, provides ongoing project counsel advice during the execution phase of projects, appears before dispute boards and acts as an advocate in major international arbitrations.

Prior to joining the firm Mike was a partner at Wikborg Rein, having previously been a partner at K&L Gates and Pinsent Masons.
