Gowling WLG advises WH Ireland on the acquisition of Harpsden Wealth Management

International law firm Gowling WLG's corporate and finance teams advised WH Ireland on its acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Harpsden Wealth Management Limited ("Harpsden"), (the "Acquisition").

Harpsden is an independent financial advisory and wealth management company with c. £250m assets under management and a further c. £140m assets under influence.

The Acquisition is part of WH Ireland's wider strategy for organic growth.

The legal advisory team was led by Sue Johnston, with support from client partner Charles Bond, Tom Rank (tax), Ian Mason (regulation) and the transactional services team.

Commenting on the team's role, Sue Johnston said: "We're pleased to have advised WH Ireland on this substantial Acquisition against the backdrop of challenging market conditions".
