Stefan Nasswetter

Stefan Nasswetter is a partner in Gowling WLG's Montréal office, practising in the firm's Business Law Group.

He focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions of private corporations, as well as on the drafting and negotiation of various technology and IT-related agreements.

Stefan is involved in the negotiation of various agreements pertaining to technology development, implementation or transfer of technologies, strategic alliances, joint ventures, service outsourcing, software as a service (SaaS) and web hosting.

He also advises numerous clients in the technology, manufacturing and tourism sectors with respect to their day-to-day needs.

Before studying law, Stefan studied commerce and business administration at Concordia University (John Molson School of Business). After being called to the Québec bar in 2013, he began his practise at a major law firm in the province. He continued working as a lawyer while pursuing his studies, and completed a master's degree in business law at Université de Montréal in 2017. His thesis focused on the specific challenges surrounding the RFP process in the private sector.

Stefan practises law in English and French.
