Afshan is a senior associate in the Commercial, IT and Outsourcing team and has developed wide-ranging experience having advised across a wide variety of sectors and clients, including public and private sector clients. Afshan has experience advising a range of clients on a variety of commercial agreements, including drafting and advising on agreements for the sale and purchase of goods and services, agency and distribution agreements, consultancy agreements, term and conditions for business and consumer sales, and IT agreements.

Afshan has completed secondments to two listed PLCs: a clothing brand and an automotive manufacturer.

Experience

• Advising an arts venue on a number of venue hire agreements.
• Advising The Birmingham Organising Committee for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Ltd on a range of key commercial contracts.
• Preparing framework agreements for the purchase of various services by a transport company.
• Preparing terms and conditions for website use, online sales to businesses and consumers, and offline sales.
