Ahad Ahmed

Ahad Ahmed is an associate in Gowling WLG's Toronto office and a member of the Business Law Department. His practice focuses on corporate law, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital and private equity. He also advises clients on matters related to corporate governance, capital markets, corporate reorganizations and commercial contracts.

Ahad regularly advises early-stage startup companies, institutional investors, private equity and venture capital funds, strategic purchasers, and established businesses, through a wide range of industries. He has considerable experience in domestic and cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Ahad was an associate at a global law firm.
