Alexandra Misurka
Alexandra Misurka is an associate lawyer practising in the Business Law Group of Gowling WLG's Toronto office. Alexandra completed her joint JD and Master of Business Administration degrees at Osgoode Hall Law School and Schulich School of Business.
Alexandra's practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate finance. Alexandra assists clients on a wide range of corporate law matters including share purchase transactions, asset purchase transactions, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, private placements, and general corporate and commercial matters. Alexandra has represented clients in a wide range of industry sectors, including technology, health & care, food & beverage, and infrastructure, among others.
Before joining Gowling WLG, Alexandra volunteered with the Hennick Centre for Business and Law and the Osgoode Business Clinic, where she assisted business owners with various legal issues. She also gained work experience in a logistics company, which allowed her to obtain an understanding of complex business matters. Alongside these initiatives, Alexandra held a leadership position as Co-Vice President of Alumni Relations of the JD/MBA Students' Association, where she was responsible for managing key alumni and stakeholder relationships.
In her spare time, Alexandra enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and friends, and staying active outdoors through hiking with her dog, golfing, and skiing.
