Alexis Vaughan

Alexis is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

Alexis completed her law degree at the University of Toronto. During her academics, she volunteered at the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board through Pro Bono Students Canada and as a student caseworker at the Downtown Legal Services community legal clinic. Alexis spent last summer completing an internship in Health Law and Policy at the Caribbean Public Health Agency in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Prior to attending law school, Alexis worked at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre as a Clinical Data and Regulatory Coordinator. Her area of focus was phase I to III clinical trials in hematology and bone marrow transplant.

Alexis is also a sports enthusiast, serving as co-chair of the Women's Intramural Sports Council, co-president of the Faculty of Law Athletic Association, and Head Referee of the intramural and varsity development soccer leagues. Alexis is a national soccer referee at the Canadian Soccer Association.

Alexis will focus her articling term with an intensive rotation in the Intellectual Property Department.
