Alice M. Mihailescu

Alice Mihailescu is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

Alice completed her JD degree at the University of Ottawa.

During her studies, Alice completed an internship with Payments Canada, supporting the legal department in providing client-focused advice in the areas of contracts, governance and compliance, and payments law. As part of her experience, she researched and provided written contributions for an upcoming payments law textbook. She later worked with the procurement department in improving management of the organization’s contractual agreements.

Alice also has experience interning with the federal government in information management.

Prior to law school, Alice graduated with distinction from York University’s Schulich School of Business, specializing in finance and organizational behaviour.

Alice will focus her articling term with an intensive rotation in the Business Law Department.
