Andréane Lafrance

Andréane Lafrance is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

Andréane graduated from the Programme de droit canadien at University of Ottawa (common law and civil law). During law school, Andréane worked as a research assistant in the field of Indigenous law and she devoted a lot of time to the Human Rights Clinic at University of Ottawa. She did an internship and also volunteered at the clinic.

She also worked at Transport Canada last summer and throughout her third year of law school where she has gained valuable experience in Administrative law.

Prior to law school, Andréane worked for her family business in northern Ontario and took on the responsibilities of managing a funeral home. While serving her community as a funeral director, she was also a member of the Board of Directors of Maison Renaissance in Hearst, Ont., a treatment centre for people who suffer from substance abuse problems.
