Bio
Angel Najjar is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office. She will receive her juris doctor from Western University in 2025.
During her studies, Angel has held a leadership role as co-president of the Western International Law Association. She has also worked as a research assistant, supporting the work of Western Law professors in producing a new Canadian property law textbook.
Prior to law school, Angel earned both a bachelor of science and master of science degree at McMaster University, where she focused on biostatistics and epidemiology. She went on to begin her career in data science, during which she launched the first centralized research database for clinical care of gender-based violence victims. This database is now used in 37 Ontario hospitals, serving to bolster the efficacy and quality of hospital-based care in Ontario.

In her spare time, Angel enjoys hiking with her cat, yoga and taking care of her plants.
