Angelina Argento-Scalia

Angelina Argento-Scalia is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Montreal office. She will begin articling with the firm in 2022.

Angelina is entering her final semester of the combined BCL/JD program at McGill University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she graduated with distinction from the Desautels Faculty of Management with a BComm in labour-management relations and in entrepreneurship.

Thanks to the combined knowledge she acquired throughout both her business and legal degrees, Angelina has had the opportunity to work in dynamic environments. More specifically, she helped establish McGill’s first-ever Artificial Intelligence for Social Good Lab and worked in Air Canada’s Labour Relations department.

Over the course of her academic career, Angelina has participated in numerous extracurricular activities. Most recently, she volunteered as a caseworker at McGill’s Legal Information Clinic and at the COVID LawHive. The COVID LawHive was a remote legal clinic established at the beginning of the pandemic to help provide legal advice on a variety of COVID-related matters to clients in the common law provinces.
