Baljit Chohan

Baljit Chohan assists his clients in developing their businesses through mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures as well as assisting clients exiting their businesses through trade or financial sales. As part of the India sales team he has particular expertise in cross-border M&A between India and Europe.

Baljit believes in commercial and pragmatic advice to deliver the most effective results for clients. He is a hands-on lawyer and leads transactions and transaction teams with a view to delivering projects on time and on budget.

As well as being a transactional corporate lawyer, Baljit enjoys leading the corporate team based in Birmingham, being the Training Principal in the firm and being part of the leadership of the India sales team. This spectrum is motivating, varied and challenging and in each of these areas Baljit very much has the future of the firm at the forefront of his mind.
