Braden Lauer

Braden is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's business law group in Vancouver. His practice includes a unique blend of:

  • Corporate commercial work, M&A, sales of private businesses, corporate governance (incorporation, reorganization and dissolution of companies, and advice to shareholders, officers and directors), specifically as these relate to the emerging tech sector in British Columbia;
  • Domestic and international franchising, licensing, and product distribution; and
  • Commercial real estate acquisition, disposition, and development.

The common thread that ties together Braden's practice is passionate and personable service. He is passionate about understanding his clients' needs, and finding solutions that are uniquely suited to each client.

Braden further applies his passionate and personable nature to assisting the various charities and not-for-profits clients of Gowling WLG in Vancouver. He has gained experience with not-for-profit boards as a director and corporate governance committee member of the Vancouver International Children's Festival.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Braden worked as a legal intern with in-house counsel at both a growing fintech company and a credit union central. Braden obtained his JD from the Peter A.
